Itaú Asset Management Expands Crypto Presence

The largest Brazilian asset manager, Itaú Asset Management, is creating a division to develop crypto-based mutual funds, ETFs, and custodial offerings.

Itaú has already developed a mobile platform that allows for direct trading of 10 cryptocurrency pairs, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and USD Coin.

The new division will operate within the structure of Itaú's mutual funds, which manage assets exceeding $21 billion.
