According to Bitcoinist, Webus International has struck a deal for members of the PhoenixMiles loyalty program (Air China) to join its Wetour travel service.

The move is pending regulatory approval. However, if approved, over 60 million PhoenixMiles members could gain the ability to pay for air travel services using XRP and Ripple's stablecoin, RLUSD.

Although the information is preliminary, such projects accelerate the adoption of cryptocurrencies in the aviation and travel industry.
